friendly staff nicely designed restaurant unimpressive lobby standard room
I found the location near the canals practical. the staff seemed helpful and friendly. I did appreciate that. the restaurants were nicely designed, and the food tasted good.
The lobby wasn't particularly excellent. It lacked a grand feel. my room was fairly standard. It didn't stand out as exquisite. i found that the big name brands were in better locations for less money, though

Acceptable but Disappointing Room
The location of the hotel was acceptable, placing me conveniently near the areas I wanted to visit.
My 'Generous Double Room' turned out to be a letdown. There was an odd smell in the bathroom (it reminded me of a public swimming pool). I expected much better considering the price and the hotel's reputation.

i asked for a wine opener, but i never received it.

the location was central and convenient , near shops and restaurants. staff were helpful , arranging a more suitable room when needed.
the absence of a spa or sauna was disappointing , and the breakfast buffet felt somewhat limited for a hotel of this caliber.

amazing stay!
beautiful design friendly staff ample space
I found the design and maintenance perfect. the staff were helpful and friendly. This really helped me feel welcome. the robe and slippers were a plus (so luxurious!), with plenty of space to hang all my clothes. i enjoyed the convenience a lot.

small room obstructed view
the location felt convenient (close to many attractions).
i booked a "classic suite", but it felt disappointing. the room looked smaller than expected, and the view was obstructed. housekeeping didn't replace used toiletries, so i had to call and ask for more.
